Features

• The Transceiver Breakout (RS-485) is a breakout board for the SP3485 (RS-485 Transceiver IC) that converts UART inputs and outputs to RS-485. Beca*** the SP3485 is a half-duplex transceiver, it can communicate in only one direction at a time, but it can transmit at speeds up to 10Mbps. This board operates on a +3.3 V power supply and has very low power consumption. RS-485 I/O is divided into 3 different connections:
• (1)RJ-45 connector,
• (2)3 pin 3.55 mm screw terminal
• (3)3 pin 0.1 inch pitch header
• Note that none of these output connectors are implemented.
