Their SurfLight™ technology enables the majority of the light and power to be emitted directly through the top of the chip. Standard IR emitters s*** their light in all directions. SurfLight™ technology therefore offers a higher intensity output of light. A higher intensity can reduce the number of emitters required for a design. This series also offers high speed with a high pulse current operation.
