- Harder and sturdier than ordinary ash-free quantitative filter paper
- Acid-cured
- Has high wet strength and chemical resistance. Acid-cured treatment keeps ash at a low level. The surface is strong and suitable for various types of microanalytical filtration.
- Quickly filters coarse particles and gelatinous precipitates in acid/alkali solutions for gravimetric analysis. Typical applications include the filtration of fiber in animal products, gelatin in milk and cream, chloride in cement, and chloride and phosphorus in coal and coke.
