Features
- Thiobarbituric Acid (TBA) reacts with the peroxidation products of fats and oils to produce a red pigment. The TBA value of this test paper is a quantitative measure of the secondary products produced by the decomposition of lipid peroxides in edible vegetable oils such as soybean oil, or lipid peroxides in processed foods. The criterion substance is TEP (tetraethoxypropane).
