Laser mirror LIDT: why pulse conditions must be stated

Laser-induced damage threshold (LIDT) only makes sense with test conditions: wavelength, pulse width, repetition rate, and spot size. The same “5 J/cm²” label means different things for nanosecond and picosecond regimes.

When you request a quote, include laser model or pulse parameters plus polarization and angle of incidence. That shortens the selection loop significantly.
